Decree of the Poznań land rabbi in the case between the rabbi of Kcynia and Kcynia elders
Naftali Kohen, the land rabbi of Poznań, ordered the Kcynia elders under the penalty of excommunication to pay the Kcynia rabbi 600 zlotys of his outstanding salary and his other expenses, obliging them to deliver the money to Poznań and fulfil their oath there, and for several weeks to pay the wife of the rabbi the amount established by an earlier contract.
